This policy explains how Select Codes handles personal information when you use the service.
1. Information we process
- Account information, such as your email address and account identifier, when you sign in.
- Membership information, including your plan status and Gumroad purchase or subscription identifiers.
- Service activity, such as saved likes, checkout-start events, and other product interactions used to operate and improve Select Codes.
- Technical information generated when you visit the site, such as basic usage and performance data.
- Items saved to your collection are stored locally in your browser unless you choose to use a feature that sends related activity to the service.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide accounts and memberships, deliver paid access, process support requests, secure the service, understand product usage, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Service providers
We use specialist providers to operate Select Codes. Depending on the feature you use, these include Clerk for authentication, Supabase for application data, Gumroad for checkout and subscription payments, and Vercel for hosting and analytics. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices and may process information outside your country of residence.
Select Codes does not receive or store your full payment card details. Gumroad handles payment information for checkout and subscription billing.
4. Retention and security
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
5. Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that we control, subject to applicable law. You may also cancel a paid subscription through your Gumroad receipt or Library. To make a privacy request, contact hey@select.codes.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or applicable law changes. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date.
